How to replace a corrupt Windows system file
My Windows XP-based AMD PC has a corrupt usbehci.sys file and I can’t get the USB port to work. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver and rebooting the PC. The driver installs but the port still refuses to work. Windows reports that it can’t find a better match for the hardware. Aside from a message that the driver isn’t Windows XP logo-certified, I can find no obvious cause.
