Sealed copy of NES Stadium Events doubles auction record

The video game sale amount record has long been held by the likes of competition giveaways like Nintendo World Championships and other games that were never available in stores. This weekend, however, a new record was set when a sealed copy of the NES game Stadium Events sold for $41,300 on eBay--more than doubling the previous record of $20,100 for a copy of Nintendo Campus Challenge 1991.
