Ubisoft gives free games to hacked DRM-affected customers

A little over two weeks ago, Ubisoft’s recent PC releases–Assassin’s Creed II and Silent Hunter 5–were rendered unplayable for hours to new players when a hacker attacked the two games’ DRM servers. The players who were affected are now posting messages on Ubisoft’s official forums stating that they have received reparation from Ubisoft, as the publisher has sent emails offering free DLC to some and the choice of one of five free games to others.
